Growing up, I was always involved in art related activities, reading, and dance. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Elementary Education and a specialization in Reading Instruction. After college I spent almost 10 yrs. working with college students through Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU) at The University of North Texas, Texas Woman’s University, and Southern Methodist University. My husband, Jeff, and I have been married 19 yrs. and have 2 high-school aged daughters, and a dog named Buddy. I’ve been homeschooling my children since kindergarten and have been involved in educating children for over 30 years in public, private, church, and homeschool settings. We attend Cornerstone Community Church in Rockwall. My favorite things to do are hanging out with my family, drawing and painting, reading, and watching British mystery shows.
